We had an issue with a lightshade we purchased and could not get the right lightfitting for it even at a lighting shop. I stumbled up on JD Lighting which said it offered a bespoke service in lighting-both making lights and alterations. I contacted them and went down to show him the light shade. John knew what was required and we were sorted within a week. Very reasonably priced too. Would not hesitate to recommend

Excellent service ~ quick, efficient and reasonably priced. A new bayonet fitting replaced one that was broken on a Moorcroft table lamp, restoring it to perfection again. All within two working days! This is the go-to place if you ever have a similar need.

I stumbled upon JD Handmade Lighting when doing a Google search for someone to re-wire an antique light that is of great sentimental value to me and I can't be happier with the result. Such friendly service. There were so many beautifully created bespoke lamps and lights in the workshop, I'm sure I'll be back to buy something soon. I would definitely recommend! Thank you
