Great atmosphere, plenty of spa amenities, staff are friendly and professional, and the food was good. Would recommend a visit.

We went for a pedicure and lunch. We did this prior to Covid and had a lovely experience. Whilst the refurb is nice a lot of other changes weren't as good. The pedicure was in the main spa lobby so there were lots of people walking behind us the whole time. Some quite loud. We felt on a conveyor belt this time. No connection with the therapists this time who asked odd survey like questions...so why have you come for a pedicure?...what are you looking to eat at lunch? No personal interest. I also have a different shade of pink than the one I chose. The waterfront venue for lunch is as lovely as ever although the name change is just pointless. Who wants to eat in a gravel pit? Menu was difficult as no side options. We felt too cold for salad so we went for cod loin which was very tasty but then couldn't add salad or veg to make it healthy. Lots of chips instead of whole potatoes. We had olives to help us be healthier. Then we had a latte with a cappuccino top and a cappuccino with no froth and cocoa powder. We checked but this was correct apparently. Also we didn't like the spa payment upfront and no reminder of our appointment. We felt like money was more important than our experience. we have decided not to return and try elsewhere next time. It felt like a lot of change for change sake rather than improvements. Spa receptionist was very helpful though. Update: spa manager contacted me and addressed our issues with the pedicure. Explained they were learning a new protocol and would aim to address all the problems we had....she has also offered complimentary treatments to restore our faith in the service. Once we've had those I'll update again!

Lovely soak up Saturdays experience, enjoyed the use of the saunas, salt room, steam room, ice room and pool. Gluten free Mezze Platter was brilliant.
