This was our 3rd stay , beautiful rooms and a lovely pub. A couple of minor niggles this time. Pillows were very hard. Debris on the bathroom floor, the shower gel was completely empty, no glasses in the room and only 2 ordinary teabags. When we asked for the items whilst having a drink or two in the pub they were handed to us rather than taken to our room for us. Sadly no shortbread anymore and home-made granola is no longer on the menu but the eggs Florentine was delicious . The food in the pub was very good although a tad pricey and I certainly object to a service charge automatically being added to the bill. In a pub for goodness sake!! As I say a few niggles but we would happily stay again.
