In-Range Archery Ltd

I literally can't fault my arrow fitting today. As a complete novice it's a daunting task to rock up to a shop and ask for help, knowing that many shops will upsell you the world. Nick was welcoming, honest and very easy to chat to about all things archery and video games, and the whole process was great. After a warm up session with borrowed arrows we took measurements of draw length and discussed my (lack of) experience. We decided that as my anchor point would change as I progress in skills we should future-proof my arrows and go slightly longer than normal. Nick also rightly suggested that my idea for muted coloured feather fletchings wasn't the best as they would get lost easily when learning to shoot 3D. Lots and lots of small things like this made the experience great and I'll definitely be driving the 45 minutes to get there for many of my archery needs now. Great job, Nick!

Needed complete archery equipment for my daughter , this place was recommended by her club . Despite it being a 120 mile round trip glad we chose to go here rather then order online. We booked a 2 hour slot ( and it does take that long ) , and on arrival Nick the owner agreed a budget with us then went through the process of selecting a bow , building it up and letting our daughter try it out on his own indoor range . Nick checked she was comfortable with the bow , and even gave her a tip on how to steady the bow when loading the arrows . She has dyspraxia , so this suggestion of Nick's has been really helpful and was more useful to her then he maybe knew , thanks Nick . Nothing was rushed and it was definitely worth the trip , I'd definitely recommend booking a slot though, you're investing in something that should last many years. Thanks Nick
