Buckatree Hall Hotel

Hotel under new ownership, general manager, very polite owner was rude at times. The food service was slow and staff needed more training because Sam didnt know what they were doing. ran out of towels and pillows because they were two coach trips there at the same time breakfast was slow, so my items undercooked and only one toaster working. Air-conditioning was not working in restaurant. Security cameras everywhere even on floors before bedrooms thought I was in the Big Brother house

Stayed at this hotel with 10 friends and from the moment we stepped in we were greeted with friendly staff and a warm welcome. Tahmer who may have been the manager was very polite and helpful organising taxis for us when we needed to go to our event and also the following day to go to the train station. The food was a 10/10 and the service and every staff member we came across was a 10/10. We will definitely be staying at this Hotel anytime we are back in Telford Rooms: Clean and tidy

Rooms: Rooms tired & tatty, peeling wallpaper, broken light-headed & not very clean. Noisy water pump activated every 30-45 seconds all night preventing any sleep. Nearby activities: Not much else around Walkability: Good location to climb Wrekin Food & drinks: Food & drink more expensive than menu on website & menu in restaraunt is more limited. Breakfast had limited supply food which was mostly cold & bacon undercooked. Evening dinner staff rude & unhelpful, watching over you eating to clear plates & get you out early. Bar closed early, lights went on before 10pm & staff cashing up, again a clear message they wanted you to leave.
