Farleigh Hospice

Well you could have knocked me down with a feather! I have been contributing to Farleigh Hospice for quite a few years so I felt quite put out today when I was met by a particularly officious woman. When I arrived she asked whether I had an appointment, she then pointed out that there was a notice on their door which she claimed said just that. She told me that I shouldn't venture into the so called staff area with my bags which I had brought with me and that I couldn't bring the remaining bags from my car without that appointment. She said I could leave the bags I had already brought in but I told her I would take those along with the others to a charity which was more appreciative. Age concern were accommodating, friendly and not at all officious, that's where my donations are going in the future.

Wonderful little charity shop - always stocked with high quality goods, and even if I come here more times a week I always find something nice. One of the best chariy shops in the area for sure!
