My school came here with my year group in June 2019 and they are coming again this year with my little sisters year group. I don't know what experience everyone else had (some of the reviewers really seem to not like the experience) but I had a great time. The staff were amazing, fun and really knowledgable, the food isn't what you would find in a 5* restaurant but it is pretty good for being cooked in the woods, we didn't go hungry at all and the field cook made sure we had plenty to eat, and staying in the tents and shelters we build was fun. Some people have said the toilets were awful - they are port-a-loo's so I don't know if they wanted a proper toilet to go with their 5* meal but they were fine for us. And, no showers is something they tell you about so I don't know why anyone is complaining!! It's not going to be for everyone, but I think they did a brilliant job for our camp. Thanks for the memories Bushcraft Company.

I'm so sorry to say this, but this trip was bad. We did barely any of the activities promised, and the food was awful. All we did was sit in the yert all day. We were not allowed to light fires as the ground was too dry, and nobody found the songs fun. We went into lockdown which made every one upset, and we all came home dirty, mosquito bitten and hungry. Also the hygiene was questionable as the portaloos seemed to have a lot of spiders and cockroaches in them. The only good thing I can say is that the staff (some of them) tried there best to be nice to us, so thanks for that. Overall, this ruined the end of my year 7 I am sorry xx

If you are looking for a place for your child to catch multiple illnesses, have there hopes and dreams crushed and generally have a horrible time, then the bushcraft company is the place for you! I went to this camp on a residential. It was HORRIBLE. Children's bags were searched for phones as soon as they arrived, at first I thought this was to stop anti-socialness, but I soon found out it was to prevent children from contacting there parents and taking photos of the horrible conditions. At the camp there were no showers available for students, we were left to get dirty over the course of the residential, the food was horrible, items such as plastics, leaves, hair and fingernails were found in food, there was no fresh water, water was taken from plastic tanks, the water had bits in it and was a suspect of the reason illnesses broke out on the campsite, children were forced to sleep in tents of ten. The tents were designed to hold 3 people. The tents were dirty and the floor was filled with rocks, the toilets did not flush, by the end of the camp the toilet bowls were filled to the brim with poo and wee. At night children were forced to be silent, if they talked, they were herded out of the cold tent and into the colder night at 1:00 in the morning. They were forced to hug trees in there pyjamas, which left them soaked through and freezing, or they were forced to march round the edge of the camp and were left to the mercy of the rain and cold, after this they were forced to wash up the next morning. In the day, children were sat around a fire the whole day, unable to talk, forced to listen to the staff blabbering on about what to do in this extremely unlikely scenario. On the third day sickness broke out in the camp, it was infecting nearly everyone. Sick children were forced to return to tents, they were told "it'll sort itself out in the morning ." and to go back to there tents. It didn't, children were becoming more and more sick, and with no medical treatment available, there was nothing to help them. To finish, 2 of the activities advertised were done, so most days we were sat round a fire, bored sick by the staff. It is nothing like the pictures. When the children returned home they were bruised exhausted and sick. AVOID
