The water went back to the kitchen where I heard him telling the chef, this is exactly as I would have hoped for.
We were offered free desserts and a reduction on our bill to make up for the error.
Whilst I can't speak of the quality of the steak, I can speak of the quality of the service, I'm prepared to give the Grapes a second chance because of this and hence my three stars.
No one is exempt from making mistakes.
