Friendly pub and staff , nice when regulars have a chat rather than treat you like an unwanted stranger, good food quickly served and a fantastic large scenic rear garden whose size is a surprise . Definitely will revisit, this was picked somewhat at random for location as convenient for a meet up so a good happenstance find.

Ended up in this place after calling up last minute on a Friday night as everywhere was booked. Even though their kitchen was soon closing they provided us with an amazing meal and excellent service, bar also had a warm and traditional feel to it. Hope to visit again!

Brilliant award winning genuine 'local' pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great cask real ales & real ciders alongside a good range of keg beers & ciders. Wines & spirits galore. Excellent food of a high quality & stonebaked pizzas from an outside oven at summer weekends. Weekly quiz night, weekly buskers (open mic) night, music on Sunday afternoons to follow the epic Sunday roasts. Several festivals throughout the year - beer, cider, gin ...
