In Car Safety Centre

Had an appointment booked and unfortunately was very disappointed. When I spoke to someone on the phone, I made it very clear what we were visiting for (something to stop my son being unable to unbuckle the seatbelt), but upon arrival, was told by a member of staff (who looked like she really didnt want to be there and made us feel as if we were inconveniencing her) that our only option was a 900 car seat. Again, we made it clear we were not looking for a car seat and was then taken to some buckle guards. There were only two options which looked flimsy and cheap. When the staff offered to try them in my car, they didnt even wait for me to accompany them and just walked away whilst I was finding my keys. We purchased the item to try as we needed it asap, however when trying to use it it would not work. My husband returned the item and received a refund and I was told that the staff member had then said about our son hes going to end up in the voyager, isnt he (the 900 car seat she had shown us earlier). I really dont think it was necessary for her to comment as she has no idea of the needs of our son and I found this quite patronising. Really disappointed as I was recommended In car safety from an occupational therapist, but I dont think its worth it, especially with moody staff members who have no knowledge of customer service.

Great experience visiting them for a stage 1,2,3 car seat Plenty of options to choose from and really friendly none pushy staff Highly recommended using this company and will be back in a flash if we need any more car seats

It would be our third car seat from this place. Previously, and now we had been told product lead time to be X. It was longer or unknow after chasing. Do not ask for an update over email. Doubt, you will get one. Over the phone all I got was i don't know when this colour will be available. But you can have blue or black. Potentially, that was a known fact to sales personnel. I prefer honesty over trick, but hey. Great for trying the car seat but you can do same cheaper and with colour your child wants.

The only place I'd go for car seats. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly advice. No pressure to sell. Huge selection. And you can try any seat in your own car directly outside the showroom. I have to give Dawn a huge amount of kudos for helping resolve a warrenty issue directly with the manufacturer! No stress. Just a phone call to say the problem was sorted! Thank you!!!! (duplicate review for unknown reason.... But everything above is 100% true!)
