        Extensive nursery just outside Stamford near the slip road to the A1 North/South. Lots of shrubs, perennials and annuals, including a keenly priced selection in the 'sale tunnel' (although you need to search through a lot of sad-looking plants, there are some good bargains to be had for as little as 1). Small range of containers and other garden accessories. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

        If you want to visit a nursery that offers an excellent variety of indoors and outdoor plants at very competitive prices then Wothorpe is the one, be it a 'no frills' experience. They do also offer a large selection of fresh fruit and veg.
