What a wonderful find! Lovely people and lovely place. The yoga is so restorative and I loved the yoga nidra relaxation at the end. I practice mindfulness and it was very similar to the meditative element of that. The postures were very gentle and the way they guide you helps you to really connect with your body. Beautiful spatious but cosy room. I felt very at home.

Lovely teachers, peaceful setting, reasonable prices. Best for beginners and those with disabilities or older or less flexible yogis. Also offers courses in Buteyko breathing techniques and bodywork.

I was just looking at the various providers of yoga in Worthing as I was planning to come back to it after suffering from illness, pain and stress. I have been a few times to Bihar School, and they were always my first choice. The classes were offered frequently enough that I could always make a session, and it helped me stay calm and focused at a time when I was the sole carer of my dying Mother. I don't usually write reviews, but was rather shocked by Trevor's review of - not great - and felt it's a little unfair, particularly as there's no explanation given. I like going to BSY as the teachers have trained in India, it's a homely oasis near town, and they really have a deep knowlege of what they are teaching, having been dedicated to it for some years. I have a lot of respect for that, plus the prices are great, meaning it is accessible to those on a lower income. I am going back soon to ask for one to one training, and help with breathing techniques. I even love Mukti their beautiful sweet natured dog. Lastly, my husband teaches Tai Chi and Chi Gung, and we are both Reiki Masters... he also enjoyed the class and felt it challenged him in a different way to his usual practice. The Yoga Nidra at the end is wonderful, and always a treat at the end of the asanas. Everyone is welcome there too - and it's great to see that people bring family and friends.
