        Local museums can be very hot and miss, but some do it far better than others. Worthing is one of the ones that has most definitely got things right. The permanent exhibitions are varied and interesting. There is something there for most people whatever your interests. For me it is history and archaeology and Worthing has a great collection of Roman and Saxon finds that are really well presented. Surprisingly I found myself also enjoying the costume displays. The temporary exhibition on TV set design was also really well put together and held my interest and gave an insight into the creativity of those who work behind the scenes in TV and film to make the magic that we see on screen.
