Took my 5 year old daughter for an eye test. Explained that it was requested by the school because she is struggling to sit still so they wanted to rule out that she isn't getting bored because she can't see the board. The optician then kept telling her to sit still, saying things like: "I didn't tell you to look up!" Asked me if she'd ever been to the GP, when I asked her depends what for, her reply was (almost whispered) 'autism'. She then proceeded to say she didn't see the point in using the frames cause she can't sit still. She CAN sit still, but may need a bit more encouragement or a bit more time to get the eye test done. Have a follow up for a test with eye drops but I'm not sure I want to go back.

Most unhelpful team. Would be 0 stars if the option was available. Recommendation :Customer service training needed for this team Customer accidently picked up my car keys from the counter and left the store with them. There were 5 team members on the floor and no customers. I explained the situation but they all stood behind the counter said there was nothing they could do and just watched me frantically looking for my keys offering me no help. I want to say thank you to the the boots manager and a staff member who checked the CCTV as well as the make up lady who was very helpful and even come upstairs to help me look while the opticians team still stood like trees behind the counter. Fortunately the customer who had accidently picked up my keys brought them back.

I had a routine (annual follow up) check yesterday with Adam Gonella at Worthing branch of Boots Opticians. He was thorough, polite, and was happy to explain things to me without me feeling rushed at all. A really pleasant experience, and a very professional optician.
