I have just completed my 28 day rehabilitation stay at the recovery lighthouse. I cannot express how humble and blessed I feel to be able to have had this opportunity to start my recovery from addiction in such amazing surroundings and with such amazing people. All the therapists, support workers, holistic team, (jay the PT, linzi yoga and zsuszi mindfullness) doctors, agency staff, chris the chef and the housekeeping team work tirelessly, to ensure you are in the best space for recovery and that you have all the tools available for your continued recovery following your stay and going back into 'the real world'. I honestly cannot thank you all enough for the kindness, sincerity, care and support I have received during my stay. I will miss you all dearly and look back with many fond memories of the Recovery Lighthouse.

I have had an excellent head-start to my recovery here at the Recovery Lighthouse, and have walked out the building feeling a completely different person with a new positive outlook on life, and ready to embrace the world ahead. Therapist Peter Paul has been essential to my recovery as his methods really focus on digging deep, experiencing emotions, and identifying any the potential underlying issues that are hidden within, to further explore. I really can't thank Pete and the team here enough for helping me get my life back!

There are lots of positive reviews on this place. I have just come out of rehab there. It is not a state of the art facility as advertised. There on no on suit rooms as advertised 2 rooms have a sink and toilet. The rest just have a sink in them. It is understaffed and councillors are clock watching all the time, not devoted to patient care. Group therapy is their main source of therapy. Their website is misleading. Whilst the group therapy helped you, other than this the staff were rubbish, genuine requests were denied whilst other Got away with sunbathing in on bikinis shopping and swimming in the sea, and having contra band on them. The staff didnt even have the decency to explain failures to you, yet berated you for the smallest of things. They are not complacent with thier contraband boards with ligatures or covid rules, and A rehab home looked after by all rehab patients is not the best place to be cared for. I beg you not to spend thousand s with this place or any other that UKAT are linked with. There are rules and boundaries that are enforced by some but not by all, some patients get away with it and not others. Support workers turned their backs on you when they couldnt help. once you understand you become a buddy for someone I was given an elderly lady, and nearly got shut out of meetings for being late ( her fault not mine, why was this my responsibility not the support workers? Covid rules lac, manager says he is new but once I looked into him he has been a manager he has been a manager after Primrose lodge since 2015) Whilst I am now able to deal with my issues i honestly Feel ashamed that my family paid thousands of pounds for me to spend a few weeks here which would be nothing I couldnt have learned from you tube vidoes and some AA meetings.
