Ive worked for this company for almost 3 years and I can honestly say this is the best job Ive ever had. Supportive colleagues and management and the staff at head office are lovely, supportive and approachable. I get such fulfilment out of my job, knowing we make a difference every day. We support service users to daily activities and holidays. This honestly is the best job Ive had and couldnt ask for a better company to work for.

I have worked at ACS for 3.5 years and I can honestly say its the best care company I have ever worked for (and Ive worked for a few!!) From the top down there is a passion for care and as a staff member I have always felt extremely valued. The training is excellent and there are always opportunities for progression. Each day is different and the work is very rewarding and good work is recognised through an employee recognition programme. I would absolutely recommend working here even those new to care because the support structure and training for staff is second to none. The residents are treated with dignity and respect and the company pay for all residents to go trampolining every week and put on a free Christmas party for residents, their family and with disco, food and presents. My experience is that the company goes above and beyond to give residents the best possible life. I really dont understand the negative comments on here as that certainly isnt what Ive seem. The company is caring, professional and genuinely cares about its staff.

I have enjoyed working at Arundle care so much and I have encouraged my family and friends to apply. The salary is good and overtime payments are fantastic and better than other organisations. The training is great and will equip you to work in the organisation. I get to spend my day with supportive and fun colleagues and we support service users who enjoy bowling, dancing, shopping, meals out, holidays and seeing friends/family. Sure there can be challenging moments but by following the robust support plans we work as a team to get a positive outcome. Head Office and Senior Managers are a phone call away and will come and help, the on call system is robust and you will be listened to and supported. After working in the social care for many years I can honestly say that Arundel Care are the best because if my loved one needed care and support I wouldn't hesitate to use their services.

I have worked for Arundel Care Services for 10 years now. I have worked my way up from Support Worker to Senior, to Team Leader and I am now a trainee Behaviour Support Practitioner. I have worked hard to be where I am now and I feel that Arundel have recognised my hard work and are rewarding me by supporting through me education both physically and financially. The job itself can be stressful, as can any job, but this is the nature of working with people who display behaviours that challenge. There are regular supervisions, de briefs and a complimentary employee assistance programme to for you to get support about both work and personal issues that may arise. I have had some personal issues this year and feel I have been supported above the norm to overcome and work through them. This job is very rewarding and if you are willing to learn and utilise the wide variety of knowledge and experience that people have in Arundel Care Services you can have a long and successful career. I particularly enjoy the annual Christmas party for all the service users, their families and staff, Staff also receive a Christmas bonus. I value the complimentary face to face training that Arundel provide and have always found it relevant, helpful and I always learn something new.....even 10 years later!! The hours can be long if you wish them to or you can stick to your contracted hours, there is no obligation but there is a lot of opportunity to work extra if you wish. I like the work ethics of Arundel Care Services and their attitudes towards supporting the young people we work with in becoming the most independent they can be and living their lives to the fullest. I am not the sort of person who would stay in a job I didn't enjoy or find fulfilling. 10 years on and I can honestly say I'm proud to work for such an organisation and look forward to many more years!!
