St Georges Lodge Residential Care Home

St Georges Lodge is a very lovely place. The dining room and lounge and all common use areas are beautifully decorated and of a very high standard. The rooms are all very nice too - the ones I have seen. The down stairs bathroom is modern and very nice. The dining room is really smart and colourful, the food is of a very high standard with a variety offered each day. Our mother is being very well cared for and she can enjoy all of the daily activities, from singing, reminiscing, painting, games, bingo, watching films, exercise, etc. Mandy is responsible for most of these activities, she is a diamond. There is also a regular hairdresser and a chiropodist. Mum is always praising the staff, all of them; dedicated, very kind and professional. As a family we are very pleased to have found such a delightful friendly home for our mum.

From day one St Georges Lodge was like a home to my Dad and his family. We instantly felt at home at St Georges and the staff made us feel part of the family. St Georges went above and beyond their duty's to provide kind, compassionate care with my Dads wellbeing always at the centre of what they did. His end of life care was excellent and the home agreed to hold his wake so that all of Dads friends could attend. We are very grateful for such a lovely send off.
