Say they do NHS discount but don't take Blue Light Card. I thought the point of that was to prove you're NHS. Just getting out of giving the discount!

I don't buy much here - it's quite dear. They do, however have a long term 3 for 2 offer on their range of curry spice mixes and they really are special. Recommended.

Decent range but quite pricey for some things. My issue is the service have gotten very rude and abrupt since covid. I understand its difficult for shops but being nice to customers should be a default and they need to encourage customers in store more than ever. I have experienced it, my partner has multiple times, her relatives have and have seen it with another shopper so not a one off. They can only have 5 ppl in the shop yet had 4 staff working! They are fraught with anybody that doesn't get in and out within a minute let alone tries to browse. Being funny with where youre standing in the shop, making barbed comments etc, it's a small shop so some closeness is really unavoidable. They need to have max 2 staff in store to allow for more space and customers. And the ones that are in need to learn that this is how things are atm and getting frustrated at customers will only hinder you further. I will go to the world food shop up the road opposite tesco now. Great service in there with no worry.
