Car had trouble starting 3 visits and many thing replaced that didn't need doing later costing 800. The actual problem was a battery issue, not the Cam shaft, catalytic converter or the or anything else. Complete cowboys absolutely 0 communication. Worst garage I've ever used.

Very disappointed with my visit there. There was a extreme lack of communication, I needed to call for updates myself even tho they said they would call. Also the car had a main problem (which I reported it was the crankshaft) and 300 pounds later, camshaft sensor and oil was replaced but crankshaft wasn't. Surprise, they told me I needed to change the crankshaft sensor in order for the problem to be solved...no way?! Never coming back

Absolutely dreadful service ,just like the rest of Chriss customers it appears from the reviews continued to take money off me for the same issue and the light is back on for the 3rd time 750 later and the DPF light back on , very money orientated , he needs to take some responsibility and accountability for his actions , he has no communication skills and makes no contact with his customers , be warned Service: General repairs & maintenance

My daughter bought a car from Sea Place Garage in November 2022, at the time of purchase we pointed out that the window made a noise when operated, they said it would be fixed. It worked ok when she collected it but after a short time developed a fault again. Took it back and again said it was fixed. This week the car broke down when I went to her there was a smell of burning under the bonnet and the engine didnt turn over. Rang them and they said they would get it recovered which was done the next morning, 2 days later it is fixed, supposedly ran out of petrol, no mention of burning or not turning over? Then the best bit although the repair was done under warranty ( but supposedly ran out of fuel) they would not release her car until she paid 100 recovery charge which they had never previously mentioned! Turned really nasty on the phone when I spoke to them. Oh yes Ive also been a mechanic for 48 years. In short rip off merchants like this are exactly why I started my own company. I only gave them one star because I couldnt give less Service: General repairs & maintenance
