Highly-motivated and knowledgeable instructor in a small but extremely welcoming club of very enthusiastic members. Training covers all aspects from basics through to all 27 shotokan kata and also the various kumite, as well as bag & pad work. There are regular opportunities to attend courses organised by the parent organisation SEKU. With the occasional night out, this is an excellent club !

I wanted to improve my confidence and fitness. A friend of mine suggested Martial arts but although interested I thought the idea a little intimidating. Well, after biting the bullet I finally agreed to tag along with him. BRILLIANT! Great club. The instructor Sensie, is friendly, patient and incredibly knowledgeable about all things Shotokan. The other club members couldnt be more inviting and have been generous in sharing their experience and understanding of Karate. There are no egos. Its such an interesting past time. Its not just about self defence. Its about learning an art form. Im using muscles I didnt know I had trying to perfect every move with speed and power. Great for the mind, body and soul. I really look forward to every session. Dont give it a second thought like I did. Go! You will be welcomed like I was and no doubt hooked.
