Currently sat waiting with my elderly grandmother for an appointment that was nearly 3 hours ago. I realise staff shortages occur but there is a thing as a telephone that they could use to Inform us that the doctor she is seeing is now working from home and that there will be a wait. I get we are over run in the NHS but really telling someone they may have cancer on a phone call then making them wait for an appointment and then sit in a waiting room for 3 hours with them not knowing what is going on is absolutely shocking.
