Beware of paying invoices to this hsbc bank account 40 47 25 41015346. If your client has changed bank accounts it could be impossible to trace. Shame on HSBC FINANCE for not contacting us after receiving 3100 and not notifying us that the account was closed but still keeping the payment. This is a scam itself.

Absolutely useless and incompetent team that do not understand the needs of businesses. Withhold payments despite having full paper trails. Account managers don't respond to emails for weeks. Instead of emailing all messages come through a portal which you have to log into, when you reply on the portal no one ever responds. Team struggle to match payments have to be instructed by us despite having remittance advice. For debt collection perspective , the team never chase up payments resulted in lots of late payers a problem we didn't have previously. If a customer decide to dispute a payment team will automatically side with customer and remove availability even if a spurious claim. Expect to waste many days spent on the phone.

Ideally no stars because they are a disgrace. Their phone system is not user friendly despite a pleasant lady on the switchboard. She has tried to help and get someone to ring but to no avail. I've emailed but no response. We are a long standing client and they do not know why I want to talk to them. It could be life or death. They don't care!

Very poor service - our monthly updates were always late and well beyond month end. The format of the month end paperwork changed frequently so that we had to retrain our staff on HSBC's monthly requirements but even with the frequent changes to the processes we saw no improvement to the service at our end. We were chased with a daily email for our monthly paperwork if it was passed their deadline, however the HSBC staff themselves appear to work to no monthly deadline to reconcile our information and get back to us on their restrictions to our monthly funding. Some months our restrictions to funding from the month before continued on as they hadn't found the time to process the new month end reconciliation, and mistakes relating to our funding were frequently made. When our lengthy contract expired we sought a different financier after our poor experience with the Worthing branch of HSBC Invoice Finance.
