I was scammed on Gumtree for a new 150 kids quad. When I assembled it I found it was missing the rear axle. The seller ignored me then she blocked me when I asked if she could ask a question about the quad. Gumtree nor Facebook wouldn't help me to keep her from doing this to anyone else. The police claimed no authority to make them release her info to them to investigate. The part could not be ordered from UK distributors nor the manufacturer in China. Zafir at Kuhr engineering was one of 5 machine shops I contacted in Worthing. The first guy that took on my job told me a week later he was too busy. But, Zafir quickly looked over my quad parts, listened carefully to my work scope, took my specs for a new rear axel, sourced the stainless bar, picked up the part to show me his recommendation & gave me an estimate all in about :10 minutes of my time. The next morning I had a new part out of stainless steel & assembled my Son's quad for what it would have cost me to have a replacement shipped to me & in a lot less time; if that were even an option. Now my boy can finally play with his Birthday present that's been in storage until I could come up with this solution. Thanks Zafir & the whole Kuhr team!!!
