Dr Claire Farrer - The Barn Surgery

This is my first time attending this doctors practice where I have moved recently. I was pleasantly surprised at being able to get a same day appointment. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Similarly the assigned doctor was attentative. I had a small wait beyond my allocated timeslot of an extra 10 mins.

Not great experiences when I was with this surgery between 2016-2022, the receptionist was usually quite rude and therefore not very helpful. The doctor himself once suggested to google for diagnosis. He also suggested to my partner to take 2 200mg pessaries and he should've subscribed her 400mg ones. The only good thing I can say here is that the asthma nurses did a great job

Very rude receptionist on the phone and tells you what to do before you see a Dr and hungs up on you before you finish talking.

Awful practice! Reception staff constant shout down the phone at their patients and are often extremely rude.. This practice has many issues but the one that really needs to be addressed is the attitude of the staff.
