Brilliant evening at Slake Spirits. The people who run it are so lovely and are very passionate about their gin. Made to feel very welcome and we loved the gins, gin hot chocolate, cheese board and mince pies. Thanks you for making it such an enjoyable evening.

Couldn't have been more helpful after a correctly addressed Christmas gift was delivered to an unknown house unidentifiable by the photo taken as proof. Friendly and courteous customer service much valued and sadly rare from larger companies. Thank you for saving Christmas for me.

What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday lunchtime. I was given a voucher for a tour for my birthday and really didn't know what to expect. What I got was a relaxed, informative and very tasty insight into the making of gin at this particular distillery. Tom and his dad were so welcoming and answered any questions we had. Started with a gin and tonic and then, after the tour, finished with a gin tasting. There was no pressure to buy anything, however, I did come away with a very delicious bottle of one of the products but that was of my own choosing.

My boyfriend bought us a tour at Slake's new The Chalk House Distillery for my birthday and it was a really fun and interesting experience. Thomas is a brilliant host who explained the methodology behind the company and how the different drinks came into existence. As interesting as it was to see how the gin is made, it was learning about the background and ethos of the business which made this tour unique. You can really see the passion behind the gin! We had the "Thundersbarrow" tour and would definitely recommend the same to anyone interested in an enjoyable few hours with plenty of good quality gin!
