Great convieniece shop with a post office. Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, was able to withdraw cash from the postoffice (no cash point inside) but be aware p/o hours are limited. Great range of produce on sale Inc 'free from' foods. Competitive prices for convenience store

The staff here are so rude! I said excuse me to one and she completely ignored me for a good minute then snapped 'yes' without even looking up from what she was doing, I asked if they had any honey or cous cous as I had been unable to find these items and she snapped 'only if its there!' So I said well where exactly is it? And she again snapped 'over on the back wall' I found it and eventually found some cous cous as well (I darent ask again in fear of getting my head bitten off!!) I then went to the counter, asked for a bag and had one virtually thrown at me! Now I work in retail and I know it can be hard but a bit of customer service goes a long way. I have even worked at the Co op for a while and I would pack the customers bag for them as I do in my current position and as a manager of a well known retailer I expect my staff to as well.

Handy shop with a post office but I must say the choice of goods has gone down after brexit great Indian range but lacking in good old English food like Yorkshire puddings and pizza but I do like the gammons steaks

I wouldn't usually write a review but I felt the need to on this occasion. This co-op is my local. I usually pop in to grab so bits and the staff have always been nice. However, it's a Sunday evening and on my approach up to the counter this young lad that works there often decided it would be a good idea to say to me "WOW, you look tired". I sort of laughted it off but even his colleague was taken back by the remark. I literally just spent 30 on a few groceries to be then told something like that! I wish I said something along the lines of 'thats rude' but I just left the store feeling quite upset and deflated. If you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all! Basic customer service. Also it's my only day off work so yeah I am tired and I don't need other random people pointing out I look so. Get so manners! NOT COOL
