Lido Cafe

This is a regular haunt for my parents and when my sister, brother and I can go we do! All day brekkie is great value. Service is always great as is the food and nothing is too much trouble. Easy access for all. Toilets on the premises and a real sense of being at the seaside. When the weather plays ball there are good views. Never had a bad meal there

Long time since I was a regular visitor to the Caf and very sad the current situation of this iconic Worthing venue. However the Caf is managing it's limited premises and still offering a welcome and good food at a reasonable price. My scampi and chips were beautifully cooked and the portion generous. Everything (including the "facilities") was spotlessly clean. On the basis of Use It or Lose It, show support for the restoration of these buildings before it's too late, please.

Fantastic food and brilliant staff! Deserve a pay rise. Every time I eat in the restaurant Im blown away by the quality and friendliness of the staff. The views are simply stunning. Definitely the best cafe in Worthing. Everybody must visit! Vegetarian options: Brilliant veggie and gluten free options.

Not a good experience. The owner wasnt helpful nor sympathetic when I brought back the food that had just been pecked at by the seagulls outside where the outdoor sitting area was. We hadnt started eating it. He just said we shouldnt have left our table (I left it for 30 seconds because my child wandered off.). A friendly staff member offered to help us and ask his boss to do it for us at cost price but the owner said no. So 20 wasted and although I appreciate it was not the cafes fault that the seagulls came, he could have been more sympathetic, and surely done it for us again but at cost price?! So we didnt have to pay the full cost again. We wont be returning. To top it off it happened on Mothers Day. Thanks.
