A wonderful experience and made a terrific birthday present for my sister. We have both enjoyed it so much we intend to return very soon. Jill is extremely knowledgeable, patient and clear: an excellent teacher. Thank you so much Jill...we will be back!

Jill teaches you how to make elegant fused glass. She furnished us with tea or coffee and then taught both of us the basics to enable us to make what you see in the photos prior to them being fired. Neither of us had any previous experience with handling glass although we had bought some lovely pictures elsewhere because we liked the medium so much! I had an artistic bypass operation at an early age, but Jill still managed to extract what little talent that I had :) Julia really enjoyed herself and you also see her work prior to firing. Jill has all of the necessary stock of coloured glass and tools to teach in her workshop, and she has a warm & friendly personality into the bargain. Due to covid-19 circumstances and our caring issues we had postponed our visit until Jill was happy to receive us and we could attend without any family problems, therefore we were delayed by many months. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be popping back to collect them in due course. In passing there are definitely worse places to spend some time than Worthen if you prefer peace and quiet. We loved our fired results which are now also pictured individually :) Our learning continued at another half day visit on the 27th Oct 2021 during which we made some bigger pieces captured in the photo, which we'll update when the glass has been fused and in one case slumped.

Had a great afternoon here, lovely and so relaxing. Jill was welcoming and so knowledgeable, very patient, thank goodness, as she guided the two of us through the whole process. The choice was vast and her encouragement was all we needed to start creating something unique. Can't wait to see our waves after firing and slumping, getting technical now! Jill even supplied gluten free refreshments, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again for a lovely afternoon

I had a 1 to 1 session with Jill. I am new to glass fusing so needed to gather lots of basis info, tips and ideas. A very good experience for me. I came away with a head full of new knowledge. Very motivated to get going. I would recommend.
