Unfortunately we had an awful experience on Sunday 30th May. having been so excited about visiting an old haunt for our Sunday Lunch I had flown over for an Aunt's funeral on visiting the UK I had seen such amazing reviews on the food & service. The service was hit & miss unfortunately when I booked I was told over the phone we cater for celiacs it's not a problem just can't have Yorkshire puddings ok I thought that's fine. Unfortunately as we sat down the waitress informed we sorry we don't offer Sunday lunch but could choose something off the menu. I then approached a different member of staff who said of course my daughter could have lunch however no Yorkshire's fine we thought maybe extra veg they would offer. Oh dear we started to place our order at 4.15 I asked what meats were being offered I was told you can only have the beef no choice given. Ok then beef it is well it was served up I was so surprised. So 15.95 what was on the plate table spoon of carrot & turnip mash two roast potatoes peas with spunich gravy. Definitely not worth the money we didn't get a choice of vegetables & my daughter's plate was so disappointing. We shared a desert as most were to ritch oh my daughter was offered ice-cream nothing else on the menu she could have. We were left hungry & disappointed so after waiting 40 years to visit this place I will not be returning. The two stars are for one member of staff who was polite & helpful no stars for the food I would have loved to have given you a better review. But no choice of vegetables & meat option lack of vegetables for my daughter not even offered & you definitely lack catering for celiacs.

In my humble opinion, The Turkey Inn offers a culinary experience of the highest order. A pub I like to often frequent but have never chosen to post a review, however I recently attended the British beef week & decided I should. To start I had the ox tongue tacos (see image attached) for 6.95 an absolute steal in my eyes. My main dish I decided to plump for the ossu bucco, a truly succulent treat which urged the tastebuds to dance around the palate. Smoked for 16 hours and slow braised for a further 5, this dish was delectably oozing with flavour and worthy of king charles' dinner plate. The food, at this well run establishment is a credit to the chefs, George, Matt & Oli to name but a few and for me makes the turkey inn one of the true corner stones of the keighley drinking circuit.
