Not been here for years due to previous poor visit, walked in to find a very welcoming environment, staff absolutely on point, great selection of drinks, certainly be coming back for more and bring our friends

Fantastic food and service. Special thanks to all the staff who made our entire stay so memorable. We definitely recommend this beautiful place and look forward to a return visit

Ordered an olives and bread starter, the olives were drenched in chilli flakes, my partner couldnt eat them so we asked if they could replace with normal olives. We asked for some olive oil mixed with balsamic to keep us busy with the bread while they replaced. They brought back rapeseed oil which doesnt mix with balsamic and tasted terrible. The lady didnt tell us that they didnt have normal olives so we sat and waited expecting them and they didnt arrive. We had ordered burgers for our mains, it took almost 40 minutes to serve them? I had asked to swap my fries for a salad, they brought 2 salads so we had been charged for 2 and didnt realise this. The salad is bland, basically just rocket and lucky if you get some beetroots in there. Not happy for having spent 46 on the above, and paid upfront we felt little recourse. We also received a glass for our drink that had someones lipstick still on it? Gross. They have a wonderful wood burner but it wasnt on and was a cold rainy day and certainly dampened the atmosphere. Id maybe come here but only for drinks outside and lovely view of the lake but thats it.

We hired out the back function room for a wedding reception. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and service. Several of the guests stayed at Worplesdon Place and were very happy with their rooms. Many thanks to Jack, John and the rest of the team for looking after us!
