We were looking for a pub with traditional food for mums birthday and had never been here before so thought we would check it out. Irish waitress so friendly and sat us down straight away and handed us the menu and took our drink orders, which she promptly delivered. We were shocked at how cheap the food was priced on the menu and thought they would be a smaller version, how shocked we were when a huge plate of homemade lasagne, crispy chips and fresh salad appeared for me and mum, my husband had no less than 5 locally sourced sausages with creamy mash, crispy onions and peas, he could not eat it all, even thought it all tasted absolutely lovely. Publican nice too, he came to ask if food was OK, we advised it was lovely. So a pint of Moretti, a pint of Shandy, one cappacino, a bottle of Barefoot cabernet savouignon, 3 main meals, 45, unheard of, left a 5 tip for great service, well deserved. Great staff, food and wine, we will be back. Thank you
