A Care home for Senior living, Westwood is clean, bright and has a very happy atmosphere. The Management, Senior staff, Care staff and all involved go over and above to look after their residents. I cannot fault the place or people. Mum came here out of area and we couldnt have found anywhere kinder!! The Manager has an open door policy and any help needed will be addressed and dealt with . The activities are really fab, food is good! The carers treat residents like family. I highly recommend Westwood if you want peace of mind and kindness for your loved ones.

My nan moved here in March this year and I can't thank the home enough for what they have done for her. She really loves life again, she goes to all the activities she has friends and loves mixing with all the people there. The staff look after her really well and are very prompt contacting the GP if she needs anything. I would definitely recommend this care home.

Please do not be fooled by the appearance of this care home & I use the word care very losely. On the 28th june my mum passed away, 3 days before her 93rd birthday less than 24 hours after being moved from here into a nursing home. I had to take my dying mum in a wheelchair taxi as the home couldnt be bothered to arrange transport. I have raised grave concerns about my mums so called care to the home and head office, I have had not one message of sympathy from the home & head office send a reply saying they would look into my concerns within 25 days but didnt think to ask what my concerns & issues are so I emailed a list of some of the issues and was asked for my phone number for them to contact me but Im still waiting! While my mum was in the home I raised concerns on several occasions with management & senior staff but nothing improved. The majority of the staff have no idea how to deal with dementia patients and have no empathy or compassion. The home promotes dignity for all residents but my mum was left sat in the tv room with no top on at all! I cannot begin to list the issues and concerns that I have but I fully intend to take my complaint further so please think twice before putting a loved one in here! It was one of the most difficult decisions Ive ever had to make and one of the worst decisions Ive ever made! My mum was paying over 1000 a week to be treated this way to not have needs accommodated for and to be spoken about in an unprofessional manner to the point where another member of staff apologised on their behalf.

Very positive carehome plenty of activities happening homemanager is very supportive care staff are amazing at what they do very family orientated great place too work :)

I have worked here for a few years now and really enjoy it. We have a friendly team of staff and residents. The residents really enjoy it when they sit out in the garden and have a little tipple.
