Three Shires Removals

I had a great experience with Three shires, even when I had to move dates with notice they were extremely helpful and flexible. No hidden costs, great price quoted and still stuck with price even though rising costs of fuel happened. Came to pack up hone with enough man power, arrived to new destination on time and unloaded without any breakages, taking care of my items really well. Highly recommend this great business

I chose 3 Shires because of all the positive reviews on here and competitive price. Initially all seemed well, I even tipped the 4 guys who moved my gear. I did not start to unpack my furniture and boxes until a couple of days after it had been moved because I was completing on the house I had left a couple of days later and I went back to clear up and clean. On unpacking at my new house I found a great big gouge on the top of my American fridge freezer and a childs Ikea wardrobe completely ruined by scratches, gouges and a broken corner, it had obviously been dropped or dragged. I contacted 3 Shires who 'investigated' but the removal guys denied all knowledge, of course they did!! Because I had not reported in the 48hrs after moving, 3 Shires' insurance would not pay anything but the owner 'refunded' me 150, from his own money. The 150 just about covered the cost of the wardrobe but in no way compensates for the devaluation of my fridge freezer, fortunately the mark is on top and so far the fridge freezer is working OK. Today I have started unpacking more stuff and found another chest of drawers which has been gouged. I haven't reported to 3 Shires because there isn't any point. I would definitely not use again and would advise anyone who is thinking of using them to take photos of your items before moving and make sure you check everything within 48hrs of moving. I understand accidents happen but the worst thing is the dishonesty of the staff who didn't say anything to me, tried to hide the wardrobe at the back of other items and then lied to their employer when it was 'investigated' by denying any knowledge of it happening. Forgot to say that 3 Shires stated that nothing like this had happened in 10yrs, insinuating that I was lying, which infuriated me!!!!

I used this company for a long distance move and I must say its the best removal company I have had. They were efficient polite and very professional. The charge for the service was exceptional value for money with some other firms quoting three times the amount they charged. I would not hesitate in recommending this company to others in fact I already have. A big thank you to Three Shires.
