Safety: Very quiet and felt very szf

Site is ok, sadly scruffy and tired in places with lots of seasonal vans, and some workers living on site, coming and going, plus some minor road noise.
Facilities are getting on a bit but are nice and clean and all in good working order, no issues there at all.
The website vs reality sadly differ, greatly.
We came for walks up and down the canal, Left was very nice indeed, Right not as muddy and nothing to see. Left there is a nice pub canalside.
Otherwise its just the town itself, which is ok, ish.
