        Always make sure you ask for a price before you take any alterations. They charged me 16 to have the coat arms shortened and gathered at the back, you can buy second hand coats online or in charity shops for less than 16. When I mentioned the price was steep, she told me the man in town was double that so 32 for a coat! Honestly didn't believe it. I would highly recommend you ask the price before any alterations because if I'd have known that was the price I would have gone to my friends neighbour who only charges a fiver.
