        I used to frequent this pub in 1984/85, when it was called The Cavendish. I was at North Notts College up the road, and every day myself, Pete, Lyn & Lyn, and loads others, used to make our way down here. It was the best place to be then. Loved it.

        This place has gone from being the ultimate rebellion bar to now being just an alternate bar. It's having an identity crisis and when people in Worksop think of the Frog and Nightgown they come up with thoughts of heavy rock and punk music and biker bands reined supreme but nowadays we very rarely get this unless the Yungunz come to town.
