I have worked at Gateford Hill care home for over a year now. I really enjoy my job, the staff are friendly, the management are supportive and its a lovely company to work for. Everyone works together to provide a high standard of care for all the service users.

I have worked at Gateford Hill for 19 months and thoroughly love my job. I am supported by MMCG in my role at Gateford and as a team we provide a high standard of care for our residents. The lifestyle team are amazing and we are now providing activities every day of the week. The kitchen team are fabulous and provide a wide range of meals, snacks and drinks every day. All staff take the time to really get to know our residents and provide them with the care and support they need.

I have worked at Gateford Hill for over a year now and I have to say I absolutely love my job. The management team are approachable and supportive and the activity team are amazing - there is always something going on. The home feels welcoming and friendly and there is a lovely atmosphere. It really is a home from home for our residents and I am proud to say I work here.

After many tears we placed my mother who suffers from dementia in Gateford hill being assured by the manager our mother would be well cared for and above all safe. Unfortunately within a week she had three falls, the last one resulting in a fractured hip. The home showed a lack of empathy and care never once contacting the family to enquire how my mother was or to offer any support. Whilst the home looks clean and well presented, there are some serious safe guarding and care issues that need to be addressed and have been reported to the relevant people. The dementia unit appeared in my opinion to lack positive stimulating interaction between staff and residents. Not sure if this was due to being understaffed or if staff were just not that committed to providing an appropriate enviroment. We have removed my mother from Gateford hill as we felt staff were unable to provide a safe enviroment and she was in danger of physical harm. Residents Daughter
