Thank you to the team at Tiffen & Co Estate Agents for all of their help during our recent purchase. Following a bad experience with another agency, we can truly say Tiffen provided us with an excellent service! 100% would recommend !!

Really unimpressed with this agent. I asked my wife to secure 4 quotes for marketing our property. 3 of these met my expectation after doing market research on the area over several years and the level of service I expected. Then Tiffen came along...... On average the other agents spent 45-60 minutes with us and took account of all the refurbishment work we had undertaken. The lady from tiffen took 13 minutes and ignored everything we had done. The valuation by tiffen was 15,000 lower than the other agents who had all given us the same price which fell in line with my expectations (that I hadn't told them at the time of valuation). My impression of Tiffen is that they are only after a quick sale and have no concern over the client themselves. To be so far removed from the contest when I had 4 valuations was ridiculous. I nearly laughed when the lady from Tiffen told me such a low estimate before leaving after I had already received 3 and knew what the property and area was worth. Needless to say, our property was placed on the market at the correct price and was sold within a month in line with my expectations via another agent. For heaven's sake shop around agents and make an informed decision based on your own research as well. Do not risk losing money because of under valuations (or circa 10 minute agent visits!!!)

I have recently bought a property through Tiffen Estate Agents, and can honestly say they work hard to make sure that any questions queries or details are sorted out instantly, they didn't sit on their hands at any moment, kept me up to date of any potential problems, so my purchase could be completed as quickly and painlessly as possible, for once an estate agent that actually works hard to do the job of selling properties. Sadly i also have bought another property recently through The Cumberland. The purchase was very similar, though unlike Tiffen Estate Agents they were useless, and did nothing to help the sale go through in a timely manner and ignored all questions & queries, needless to say the sale took 3 times longer than it should have done. If you want to sell or buy ; Tiffen & Co Estate Agents do exactly that. I have nothing but praise for them. ( Jan; at Workington to name just one was always on the ball and helpful.) Thank you
