Got a quote from here and they were the most horrible people Ive ever spoken to. The blonde woman especially has a nasty attitude problem and seems to think shes better than everyone else for some reason and spoke to my partner like he was something shed stepped in. Over priced and didnt have a clue what they were on about. Wouldnt recommend if they were the last company on earth. Abusive to customers if you dare question them as well!!! When my partner questioned the woman, an old man came out and started screaming and shouting at us and accusing us of lying! Lying about what????? It is over priced and her attitude was vile!! Heard from others hes apparently the owner which is no surprise when his staff are that nasty and abusive as well. Horrible company and can get far better in west cumbria than this. Avoid avoid avoid!!! Unless you want screamed at by an old man who thinks abusing customers is how to do business

Before choosing Modern Homes to renovate our kitchen, we also visited other businesses. We eventually chose Modern Homes, due to their warm friendly nature, while remaining professional. Evie listened to all our requirements and our vision and came up with the perfect design. No matter how many times we just dropped into the showroom, to discuss our design or change certain points, we were always met with a smile and given the time of day. The team organised work schedules with other companies ie. Flooring, electricians, worktops, taking all the stress away from us. Neil our fitter is extremely skilled and built our vision to perfection. He was always on time, polite and friendly. He worked tirelessly, while keeping clean and tidy. He made suggestions and clarified ideas as he worked. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He was lovely and a pleasure to have in our home. We would highly recommend Modern Homes. Modern Homes supplied and fitted our kitchen and assisted us with all aspects of remodeling. We were really happy with the service we received and love our kitchen, which was tricky being an old house with low ceilings and irregular features. Got some really good advice including about aspects not purchased through modern homes which demonstrated a high level of customer care. Service: Remodeling
