Dont fall for the advertising, the whole house stinks of cigarettes smell or something else. Rough area and the house is about to fall off with more than 5 or 7 rooms built in one house. Only booked as a last minute option, price is the only advantage as it was 50 per night for a room. Cons: *Stinky (especially living room and kitchen) that it gave me an asthma attack in long time. Dont open the black fridge if you still want to live. *Wifi wont work if youre in the downstairs room. *Parking is alright if its a one night stay or over the weekend. Else its a pain and remember to carry the disc (cumbria council) *top floor bathroom drips dirty water all over the first floor Adding to that, it was scary seeing the cracked ceiling and walls. Could be good for singles for a one night stay

I was really disappointed with the condition of the house versus what was shown in the photos. I am not sure how anyone would feel safe enough to stay in the house with the structural cracks and leakages from the bathroom floors. The place stinks of cigarette smell and overall hygiene is really bad. Kitchen appliances are not maintained well especially one of the fridges and the oven, both of which smells really bad. I was staying in the ground floor and could not use the ground floor bathroom because of cigarette or some other smell, I could only use the first floor bathroom for shower and the toilet in the first floor was out of order. So I had to use the second floor bathroom for toilet, and the bath tub there leaks water to the floor below. It was a really unhygienic and poor experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone until unless they fix the condition of the house.

Affordable stay for people who just need a night to sleep in. Apart from that, there was no much things which attract you to the house to spend the day or rest. I got the room no. 5 which is in the attic at the 2nd floor. The room was somewhat spacious and had a working TV, 2 small tables and a hanger structure. Only 1 window was there, the bathroom is not attached and no cupboard was available. The bathroom was clean but the water from the bathtub was leaking to the floor below it. Also many cracks were visible in the roof. The property has a living room with sofa and TV and kitchen with most of utensils, appliances and small dining area for 6 in the ground floor. The whole ground floor and 1st floor was stinking with cigarette smoking smell and most of the utensils and appliances very not very clean. The living room and kitchen windows were not even opening to let in fresh air. Not recommendable unless serious works for structural integrity, cleanliness and fresh air provisions are made.
