Clean and good variety for the kids as there's a nice baby/toddler area and a much bigger side for the older ones. You pay for 2 hours of play time and this was plenty for us. The coffee and cakes are delicious as well Only downside is that it's a bit pricier than other similar places.

3.95 per child Average price but a very small play area. Food and drink massively over priced. A toastie 6 pounds. Yes just for a toastie. Kids box. Tiny sandwich packet of crisps and small drink. Not impressed. No return sorry

Visited here on 31.3.23. You could tell the play area and cafe aren't cleaned every day and both looked like a deep clean wouldn't go a miss. Wasn't really much in the under 2s area (2slides, mirrors and soft play blocks) so my 18month old preferred going in the bigger area. The soft play blocks in the under 2s area that had the velcro on the back didn't even stick to the velcro areas it should have. Both myself and my partner were put off purchasing anything in the cafe bit of the playbarn after looking at the menu, seemed overpriced for what was on offer. Entry into the playbarn was a fair price however because you're only getting 2hours entry for that price, it's a little overpriced compared to similar places and the usual playbarn we go to (Pirates & Princesses) where you pay and can stay as long as you like. Apley Playbarn isn't a playbarn I would go out of my way to take my daughter to but I'd use it if we were already visiting Apley for another reason
