Another superb visit to this fantastic site. Staff are simply excellent and the facilities great. Fantastic inclusion of a small bar and a variety of visiting food providers adds a real holiday feel. The only downside to the location (which is not a fault of Morris leisure) is the lack of a nice footpath down into Bridgnorth. We are keen walkers and the walk along the main roads is particularly unpleasant and at times dangerous. A cross country footpath would be superb. This doesn't detract from the site though which is superb and we'll go back year after year.

Sadly after our latest visit I can only change this to 1 star. After a wonderful peaceful visit in the adult only area last time we booked 3 nights again for some much need rest and relaxation. Sadly this was not to be, alas on the pitch opposite were the caravaners from hell. Drinking all day playing hard tennis with wooden bats and solid balls that would easily damage a van or vehicle in an area it's not permitted and the worst bit the TV in the awning with external speakers booming till late night. On advising reception the first night they advised to let them know if it could be heard the next night, so we did as these type of self centred individuals rarely care for others, sadly nothing done even though the booming could be heard clearly in our van and by others ruining their tranquility too. Such a shame but if that's the clientele they are letting into affiliated sites like Stanmore now then clearly the model is going the wrong way.. Note if you do end up stopping here and are pitched near a Lunar Quasar with enough mould and bacteria on it to start a national outbreak emergency then be prepared for all day drinking, booming TV and music and ball games risking the integrity of your vans and vehicles. So much for a well deserved break in peaceful surroundings more so disappointment that was paid for sadly Extremely annoying as I' really thought we had a local wonderful piece of heaven to escape to regularly.

Great two nights away at @morrisleisure stanmore hall campsite just outside of bridgnorth. Lovely site with great facilities, toilets and shower room were spotless and the showers were immense, full power and hot! No messing pushing buttons or dribbly water here! Staff were all lovely and helpful and the coffee in reception was excellent. Had a hard standing fully serviced pitch in the adults only area and it was lovely and peaceful. The lake is very picturesque and full of ducks mooching about, and the added bonus of a couple of peacocks strutting around. Walked into bridgnorth high town for lunch, about 4 miles via quatford and the river walk, then about 2ish miles back up the main road, beware though it's a steep old walk back. Still beats sitting around. Looking forward to going back sometime.

Beautiful and well kept site, great views across the lake and very quiet. Excellent facilities, showers lovely and hot. Nice little coffee/cake conservatory area for reading or just watching the ducks and peacocks! We stayed only one night as we were passing through and already booked another campsite otherwise would definitely have stayed longer. Adults only area if you want more peace and quiet and lovely large pitches with lots of room. Not stayed at any Morris-Leisure site before but will definitely try the other sites now! Dog friendly too and within walking distance 2 miles to Bridgnorth and very close to Stanmore Country Park. Themed food nights scheduled for Easter Bank Holiday Weekend by the little outside bar but we couldnt experience this time around, maybe next time. Walkability: Walking distance into Bridgnorth but quite narrow footpath in some areas therefore could be tricky for toddlers or pushchairs.
