Davenport House

Beautiful venue but if your staying the night there is no tea or coffee in your room, no tv. The breakfast is continental and really nice,ham cheese grapes, fruit. The view is amazing... but be warned the drinks are over 10 each just for a single bacardi and coke (London prices).

Davenport, what a venue! From the first time we stepped in we knew it was the venue for us. The people were incredible helpful, the venue speaks for itself and the grounds are stunning. The whole wedding planning process was seamless, Megan our wedding planner was faultless and ensured our day went ahead without a glitch! They kept in touch with our suppliers and ensured we didnt have a single thing to worry about! All of our guests were amazed with the venue and have said it was one of the best places theyve ever been to for a wedding! We cant wait to come back to visit, thank you all so much! My daughters wedding was held at Davenport house. Lizzie and the team were just fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. would highly recommend

Charley and the whole team at Davenport were brilliant throughout our wedding day. This included Lizzie welcoming me and the girls the night before, Megan making sure we were up and ready in the morning, and Charley checking my dress looked perfect and checking in with both me and Luke throughout the day with her reassuring and calm manner. We had no doubt that you would all look after us and make us feel so special, so thank you. We were also really grateful to the staff that served us on the day. In particular, the lovely lady behind the bar and the gentleman from Seville who both showed great enthusiasm and friendliness towards us. (Apologies our memory of specific names is not great!). We want to take a moment to thank Ian and the chefs for the amazing food they served that we are still talking about today the beef and the mashed potato were real highlights! Ian is the perfect gentleman too who organised the perfect gluten and dairy free menu (and biscuits!) for our special day. And we cant forget the amazing breakfast the next morning, with the most helpful lady who brought out a brand-new toaster just for Lukes g-free bread which made us all so happy! Thank you so much!
