Arrived at 11:00am and asked if we could sit outside. Breakfast menus were provided and we waited and waited. I went inside at 11:20 and asked to order a breakfast sandwich and coffees. I was told I was too late for breakfast. As I was talking to the staff member another came past with full breakfasts. I was told I could have cake or lunch options. I pointed out that due to them I was put at detriment and I was there well in time if they had come outside to take the order. I asked to see management and was told there wasnt any there and that if I emailed she would be sacked and then the staff member cried and walked off not even asking whether we wanted coffees. I hadnt raised my voice and simply asked for reasonable customer service. I emailed as I wanted to give Apley a chance to offer an apology rather than post a negative review. Unfortunately no response so my review stands as a record of my recent visit

We walked in and was directed to a table, another waitress came over and proceeded to tell us we shouldnt have just walked in and sat there, we were made to feel uncomfortable. We were told that we had to pay upfront, very disappointing!!!

Really disappointing experience this morning. Arrived at 9.40 hoping to get a table after being unable to book (due to the online booking system being down) but understanding we may have to wait. No tables were available, and told by rather aggressive waiting staff that we could not reserve a table as they were expecting it to be busy, we were told a table should be available in around 20 minutes, and advised to go and have a wonder round and then return - which we did. Upon returning 20 minutes later we were told that actually they had now started a waiting list to which we were not on, and 3 other families were now infront of us. We explained that we had been told to have a wonder and come back, however again we were told we could now wait outside but would be at the back of the queue. This is really frustrating and a waste of a 45 minute drive. Staff were somewhat ride and aggressive and lacked organisational skills. After supporting the Apley farm estate we felt very very disappointed.
