As far as Tudor houses go, this one is in a row of old higgledy piggledy/sloping old houses and is lovingly looked after by a team of welcoming and friendly staff. We loved talking to the guides, learn about the social history of the house and implicitly of this charming town as it was 600 years ago. We also recommend that all visitors should take some time to enjoy a cuppa and a delicious snack in the lovely cafeteria that adds extra warmth to this old house. The house is free to visit but they will welcome all donations as it takes a fair bit of effort to keep this beautiful piece of social history going.
