Had my tattoo here with Joe back in October last year. I was so happy with it, I knew Id be coming back again back again for another and cant recommend this place enough. Calm, relaxing and made to feel at ease as soon as arriving. If youre thinking of a tattoo, this is the place to come.

I had a wonderful experience with Lewis at Holm. The tattoo looks absolutely incredible and he made me feel at ease all day, as did the other artists in the studio. I'm really proud of the finished piece, and that Lewis was able to take part of my story and turn into a beautiful piece of art. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, I had my appointment with Joe for my second tattoo (first by him) and was nervous having used emla for my first but deciding not to for this one. From the moment I walked in, I was comfortable and put at ease. Joe showed me the design, which was pretty much what I had envisioned, making only a couple of minor tweaks before starting the process. Having the tattoo was pretty painless which I wasn't expecting and it was like talking to a friend throughout. Such a great experience, I was buzzing when I left! I'm sure it will heal well and I look forward to returning. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe or the studio to anyone. Im all for tattoo artists being able to refuse service but Im unsure of the expectation of this place. Twice I have tried to book an appointment with Lewis and twice been told my project was not something he wished to do despite the 2nd project being almost entirely free reign, in their own words they want to know theme/subject/main message of the piece, I gave the criteria growth and change and got knocked back and when pushed for a response I got the same washy answer back.
