In Spring 2021 I first became aware of a sore lower back, which lead to me cancelling some sports activities and passing a couple of awful nights when I just couldn't find any resting position which didn't hurt . . . At first I assumed that it was just another age-related degenerative condition (a term often used by my GP, unfortunately), until some friends convinced me that (like many other people), I tend to look after the mechanics of my bicycle more than those of my body, and that I should seek professional help. I dithered between sports massage and osteopathy, finally deciding that the latter was more appropriate, as all practitioners have studied to at least degree level and are registered with the General Osteopathic Council. But which osteopath to choose? I asked advice from my badminton group and received a glowing recommendation for Duncan Cameron-Mitchell, in practice close to my home, so I made an appointment. Mr Duncan Cameron-Mitchell was at all times professional, reassuring and competent, and I was soon completely pain free, I wholeheartedly recommend his services. Many thanks Duncan.

I started seeing Duncan because I had an upper back issue for a few years which caused problems in other areas. The treatments I've received from Duncan mean I am no longer in constant pain and I can move more freely and confidently. He knows where there is something 'not quite right' without me telling him! He's very knowledgeable, friendly and makes you feel relaxed. I wish I had visited him sooner.
