Beautiful home and lovely staff that'it. Barchester are appalling at management and their values and ethos are definitely not what they portray in their adverts

I had the opportunity to have my Music Therapy work placement at Latimer Court for my Masters course, delivering music therapy group sessions to the residents over 6 months. The staff and our point of contact, the Activities Co-ordinator, Rachel, were all very welcoming and supportive of the Music Therapy group myself and another trainee led. The environment was tidy and there was always a positive atmosphere. It was lovely to have the opportunity to get to know the residents and staff during my time there.

I was very lucky to have my placement for my master's in Music therapy at Latimer court. This involved delivering music therapy for residents of the home in both individual sessions and group sessions with a fellow trainee. All the staff were so welcoming and understanding and I felt straight away that everyone was supportive of what we were doing. In particular, the lead activities coordinator, Rachel, guided us and supported us across the few months we were there. I felt the home was always clean and tidy, with a positive attitude to all their visitors. It was lovely to get to know so many of the residents and connect with them and see that they live happy and well-supported lives at the home.
