Balti Mahal

We live so close to this place and have always said wed try it out. We finally paid a visit last night a last minute decision for my soon to be husbands birthday. It certainly did not disappoint. We had the Mahal special platter for 2. Served on a sizzling skillet with the most beautifully seasoned onions & peppers. I had the Tenga Mita Jahl. Whoever decided to put mint in a hot, sweet & sour curry deserves a knighthood. It was delicious. I cant remember what my other half had as I was in shock that he had something other than a pathia. We will definitely return or pick up a takeaway. The menu from our usual takeaway has gone in the recycling bin.

Just received a delivery from this restaurant, the food was extremely poor, I genuinely have no idea how you can get it that wrong! The rice, bread, curries, the lot was very tasteless and bland. It was our first and last time that's for sure.
