A. V. Band Funeral Directors

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD!!!! (This funeral was from june 2019) Following my Nan sadly passing last June, we booked AV bands to do funeral. 10days after booking my mum received a very distressing call off Worcester Royal mortuary to ask what was happening with my nans body. We called AVB to find out why my nan had been left up there! They lied to us and blamed the hospital for not giving them an appointment. When the real reason was they had no space in the chapel of rest!!. Following this appalling service we cancelled everything a week before her funeral and were lucky enough that the Bedwardine funeral directors took things over with a first class service. If all this hadn't been bad enough. At the end July someone for AVB sent my mum a letter asking to rate their service! At the end of August she received a invoice/letter staying they would seek legal action for 3,200 if not paid and the same letter in October!! They didnt even do the service!! Each time we received it it was very upsetting for my mum. Each i called them asking them to stop call forms of contact with my mum. In October i called head office have never had a call back!! THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. THEY USE EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

A. V. Band provided an excellent service in arranging our mothers cremation and helped guide us through the process in a very caring manner. I would also like to thank Tracy Fellows (recommended to us by A. V. Band) who wrote and presented a very moving tribute to mum, which we all very much appreciated.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Made a difficult time more manageable. My husband was treated in a dignified and respectful manner. We can not thank you all enough.
